Blue Ridge Golden Retrievers is owned by Dan and Marissa Gahafer, and is located in Britain, Virginia in Northwest Loudoun County Virginia. Our physical address is: 38011 Britain Road, Lovettsville Virginia 20180.
In light traffic we’re 45 minutes Northwest of Tyson’s Corner, 45 minutes East of Winchester Virginia, and 35 minutes Southwest of Frederick Maryland.
We’re what are often called “backyard breeders” in that we don’t have between several and many female Golden Retrievers that we breed as a business. We treat breeding as a professional responsibility and we have one male and one female. Our primary goal is providing people with companion pets that are calm, intelligent, loving, and empathetic that can be companions or trained as service dogs. We have had several Golden retrievers over the years, and we’ve been breeding them since 1989.

I do not have any puppies at this time. I may have a litter in 2 months as a female was recently in heat and has been bred.
